Snapchat announced its new update today, which includes the option to purchase more Replays.

Snapchat introduced Replays nearly two years ago, allowing users to replay a Snap before it permanently disappears. Each Snapchatter was allotted one Replay per day.

In a blog post, Snapchat writes: “a Replay is like a compliment! So why stop at just one?” Which is why the app now offers an option to purchase more Replays, starting at 99 cents for a set of 3. You can still only replay a Snap once, but you’re no longer limited to one per day.

This is the first time Snapchat is offering in-app purchases.

The update will feature other “fun surprises” as well. The blog post mentions an addition of Trophies, but doesn’t say much about them other than they’ll be located above the camera.

Lenses are an exciting addition to the app. Simply press and hold the screen as you’re taking a selfie and you’ll be prompted with 7 lens options, including one that ages your picture and another that makes it look like you’re vomiting rainbows. This is probably the most exciting thing to happen to Snapchat since it added a travel mode.
