Fortune and Great Place to Work have published their first-ever ranking of the best workplaces for millennial workers — a list of 100 employers who scored the highest among workers under the age of 35.

The Pennsylvania-based exterior home renovation company Power Home Remodeling takes the No. 1 spot with high marks for attention to career development and creation of new opportunities for its employees. Houston-based home builder David Weekley Homes is in second place, followed by third place Allied Wallet, the Los Angeles-based electronic payments company.

Other notable entries include Chili’s Grill and Bar (No. 11) and Elevation Church (No. 34), which earns honors from staff for its philanthropy and volunteer opportunities.

Respondents to the survey, some of the 54 million millennial employees who constitute the largest generation in the U.S. workforce, say they desire open communication, risk-taking, collaboration, support among employees, and fewer internal politics.

Workplace culture consultant and research firm Great Place to Work conducts the most extensive survey in corporate America to determine the habits and experiences of America’s workforce. For the Millennials list, more than 90,000 employees were asked to evaluate and rate the practices of their employers. For each of the 465 companies that participated, at least 50 employees from every company were surveyed. There was no limit to the size or type of organization. Perks and benefits programs were not included as part of the ranking methodology and scoring was based entirely on employee feedback.

Fortune has partnered with Great Place to Work for the past 18 years to produce the 100 Best Companies to Work For, its hallmark list of the best workplaces in the U.S.
