“There’s no job that’s beneath me,” General Electric (GE) chairman and CEO Jeff Immelt said last Thursday on Fortune’s The Chat, a new video interview show hosted at Facebook’s (FB) Menlo Park, Calif. headquarters.

Any Fortune 500 CEO can say that, but Immelt proved his point when he answered this question that Fortune reader Dana Livingston Ward posted for him on Facebook: What is the most un-CEO task that you do at GE? “I like to go to Walmart (WMT) and check to see where our light bulbs are placed,” Immelt replied. “I find that to be joyful.”

Well, some bosses find joy in odd places.
