San Francisco’s tower of power

St. Regis Museum Tower, nestled amid the high-rises of the city’s SoMa neighborhood, is home to one of the bigger groups of power players in the world. They enjoy amenities such as 24-hour butler service so comprehensive that Richard Wollack, a resident and winemaker, says, “I have one criticism of the St. Regis — I have forgotten how to open and close the door.” Al Gore has a place there, as do Michael Ovitz, former president of Disney (DIS), and David Drummond, a senior VP at Google (GOOG).
