Trump, previewing his first address to Congress during a friendly interview Tuesday morning on Fox & Friends, said Twitter “does allow me to go around dishonest media.”

“Most of the people that want me to stop it are the enemies, I’ll be honest with you,” Trump said. “If I felt the media were honest, all of it, or most of it, I wouldn’t do it. But it is a modern day form of communication.”

Trump also touted his proposal to increase military spending. “We will be having the greatest military that we ever had by the time I finish,” he said. And amid questions about how he will pay for the increase, Trump said the money will come “from a revved up economy.”
