Uber sent messages to users who deleted the ride-share app telling them the company is “deeply hurting” after allegations of sexual harassment in the workpalce.
According to CNN, in recent days when users cited Susan Fowler’s charges of harassment as their reason for deleting the Uber app, the company responded with an email that said in part, “Everyone at Uber is deeply hurting after reading Susan Fowler’s blog post. What she describes is abhorrent and against everything Uber stands for and believes in.”

An Uber spokeswoman told CNN that they sent the message to about 40 users.
In a blog post published in Feburary, Fowler claims, among other things, that early in her career at Uber her manager propositioned her for sex, and the company refused to take strong action on her behalf.
