Donald Trump has prepared both a concession and an acceptance speech, advisor Omarosa Manigault told reporters ahead of Election Day results rolling in on Tuesday.
Trump previously would not commit to accepting the results of what he has called a “rigged” election.
Manigault, who led Trump’s African American outreach, told reporters that both speeches had been written.
“Both candidates have written acceptance speeches and concession speeches,” she said. Manigault would not elaborate on the nature of the speeches, saying, “No, that’s above, my pay grade.”
As his campaign ended, Trump said losing the election would mean he had “wasted” his time, the Wall Street Journal reported.
