Visier, a workforce analytics and planning software company with offices in Vancouver and San Jose, has raised $25.5 million in Series C funding. Adams Street Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Foundation Capital and Summit Partners. www.visier.com

About.me, a San Francisco-based online identity platform, has raised $11 million in Series B funding.Foundry Group led the round, and was joined by return backers True Ventures, SoftTech VC, CrunchFund and Bullpen Capital. About.me had been acquired by AOL in late 2010, but co-founders Tony Conrad and Ryan Freitas bought it back early last year and raised $5.7 million in Series A funding.www.about.me

Washio, a Santa Monica, Calif.-based provider of on-demand dry cleaning and laundry services, has raised $10.5 million in new VC funding. Canaan Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers A Grade Investments, Pejman Mar Ventures, Sherpa Ventures and Jerry Yang. www.wash.io

Exabeam, a San Mateo, Calif.-based big data security analytics startup, has raised $10 million in Series A funding. Norwest Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Aspect Ventures and Schlomo Kramer. www.exabeam.com

Placed
, a Seattle-based provider of location insights and mobile ad intelligence, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Two Sigma led the round, and was joined by return backer Madrona Venture Group. www.placed.com

Gillbus, an inventory distribution system for passenger bus transportation carriers and online ticket sales, has raised $3 million in Series A funding from InVenture Partners, Intel Capital and FinSight Ventures. www.gillbuss.com

Paper Battery Co., a Troy, N.Y.-based developer of energy storage and enhancement technologies for consumer electronics, has raised $3 million in Series A funding led by Caerus Ventures.www.paperbatteryco.com

TurnKey Vacation Rentals, an Austin, Texas-based vacation rental management startup, has raised $3 million in seed funding led by Silverton Partners. www.turnkeyvr.com

Move Loot, a San Francisco-based online platform for buying and selling used furniture, has raised $2.8 million in seed funding co-led by First Round Capital and Index Ventures. Other backers include Google Ventures, SV Angel and Y Combinator. www.moveloot.com

Dwellable, a Seattle-based mobile app for vacation rentals, has raised $2 million in seed funding co-led by Version One Ventures and Maveron. www.Dwellable.com

Innovari, a Las Vegas-based developer of interactive energy platforms, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series B funding from VantagePoint Capital Partners. www.innovari.com

Kounta, an Australian provider of cloud-based point-of-sale solutions, has secured a strategic investment from MYOB Holdings. www.myob.com.au

Payoneer Inc., a New York-based provider of online solutions for cross-border payments, has raised an undisclosed amount of strategic funding from the investment arm of China’s Ping An Group. The company previously raised nearly $40 million in VC funding from Carmel Ventures, Susquehanna Growth Equity, Greylock IL and Vintage Venture Partners. www.payoneer.com

Private Equity Deals

Chico’s (NYSE:CHS), a Fort Myers, Fla.-based women’s clothing retail chain, is talking with private equity firms about a possible sale, according to the FT. Chico’s has a current market cap of around $2.35 billion. Read more.

Country Pure Foods
, an Akron, Ohio–based juice packaging company owned by Mistral Equity Partners, has acquired the portion juice and juice concentrate business of Fruitbud Juice LLC. No financial terms were disclosed. www.juice4u.com

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners
 has acquired Smith System Driver Improvement Institute Inc., an Arlington, Texas-based provider of accident avoidance training for fleet vehicle drivers. Sellers include Transportation Resource Partners. www.smith-system.com

Lovell Minnick Partners has acquired a minority equity stake in 361 Capital, a Denver-based asset management firm specializing in liquid alternative investments. No financial terms were disclosed.www.361capital.com

PAI Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in DomusVi, a French nursing home operator with €647 million in 2013 revenue. No financial terms were disclosed. www.domusvi.com

Palladin Consumer Retail Partners
 has acquired Aerosoles, an Edison, N.J.–based maker of women’s footwear comfort solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. www.aerosoles.com

PPL Corp.
 (NYSE: PPL) has agreed to sell its merchant power generation business (PPL Energy Supply) to Riverstone Holdings, which then will merge it with an existing power generation portfolio to create a company that will list on the New York Stock Exchange (Talen Energy Corp.).www.pplweb.com

The Slovenian government
 has received multiple bids for state-owned telecom operator Telekom Slovenije, which could be worth upwards of €1.4 billion, according to Dow Jones. Suitors include Apax Partners, Cinven, CVC Capital Partners, Providence Equity Partners, Deutsche Telekom and Mobile TeleSystems. www.telekom.si/en/

TrailStone, a global commodities logistics and trading company owned by Riverstone Holdings, has acquired U.S. Oil and Refining Co. (USOR), operator of a 42,000 barrel/day refinery located in Tacoma, Wash. and a provider of transportation logistics in the Pacific Northwest. IPOs

Avolon Holdings Ltd., an Ireland-based aircraft leasing company, has filed for a $300 million IPO. It plans to trade under ticker symbol AVOL, with J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup serving as lead underwriters. Shareholders include Cinven, CVC Capital Partners and Oak Hill Advisors.

Fermaca Enterprises, a Mexican gas pipeline operator, is considering a 2016 IPO, according to Bloomberg. The company sold $550 million worth of bonds last month. www.fermaca.mx

GoDaddy Group, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Internet hosting company and domain registrar, has filed for a $100 million IPO (almost certainly a placeholder). Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, and Citigroup are listed as lead underwriters. The company was acquired three years ago for $2.25 billion by KKR, Silver Lake and Technology Crossover Ventures. Read more

Imperial Tobacco (LSE: IMT) is prepping a Madrid floatation for its Compañía de Distribución Integral Logista Holdings distribution business, following which Imperial Tobacco would retain a majority stake. www.imperial-tobacco.com

M&A

Greenleaf Power LLC, a Sacramento, Calif.-based owner and operator of North American renewable energy biomass power plants, has secured a $100 million growth capital facility. Greenleaf is a portfolio company of Denham Capital. Babson Capital Management agented the new financing.www.greenleaf-power.com

International Game Technology (NYSE: IGT), a Las Vegas-based maker of slot machines, has hired Morgan Stanley to explore strategic options, including a sale, according to Reuters. The company has a current market cap of around $3.5 billion. www.igt.com

Reynolds Group Holdings, a New Zealand-based packaging conglomerate owned by Graeme Hart, has hired Goldman Sachs to explore strategic options for drink carton maker SIG Combibloc Group, according to Reuters. The company could be worth around $5 billion. www.sig.biz

Time Warner (NYSE: TWX) is in talks to acquire a “large stake” in Vice Media for upwards of $1 billion, in a deal that could effectively give Vice control of the HLN television network, according to Sky News. One negotiating point yet to be resolved is if Time Warner would purchase oa 5% position currently held by 21st Century Fox, which paid $70 million ($1.4b valuation) last year.www.timewarner.com

Vitamin Shoppe Inc. (NYSE: VSI) has acquired Miami, Fla.-based nutritional supplement maker FDC Vitamins LLC (a.k.a. Nutri-Force) from MBF Healthcare Partners. No financial terms were disclosed.www.fdcvitamins.com
