Social Finance Inc. (SoFi), a San Francisco-based student lending solution, has raised $77.2 million in Series B funding. Baseline Ventures led the round, and was joined by DCM and Renren (NYSE: RENN).www.sofi.com

Zendesk, the proven cloud-based customer service software provider, today announced the completion of $60 million of new financing. Index Ventures, GGV Capital and Goldman Sachs were joined by return backers Charles River Ventures, Benchmark Capital and Matrix Partners. The company also secured a $15 million facility through Silicon Valley Bank. Zendesk previously raised over $25 million.www.zendesk.com

Aerohive Networks, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based developer of “cooperative control” wireless LAN access points, has raised $22.5 million in fifth-round funding. Institutional Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates and Northern Light Venture Capital. The company previously raised nearly $75 million. www.aerohive.com

Vascular Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Chapel Hill, N.C.-based developer of diabetes drugs, has raised $16 million in Series A funding co-led by Intersouth Partners and MPM Capital. www.vascularpharma.com

Ensighten
, a Cupertino, Calif.-based provider of enterprise tag management solutions, has raised $15.5 million in Series A funding. Volition Capital led the round, and was joined by Eastern Advisors and Floodgate Fund. www.ensighten.com

Work4 Labs Inc., a San Francisco-based recruiting solution that operates through Facebook, has raised $11 million in Series A funding led by Matrix Partners. www.work4labs.com

Viewfinity, a Waltham, Mass.-based provider of privilege management solutions, has raised $8.5 million in Series C funding from Longworth Venture Partners, Giza Venture Capital and JK&B Capital.www.viewfinity.com

Amplidata, a Belgium-based developer of object-based storage technology, has raised $6 million in new VC funding. Quantum Corp. (NYSE: QTM) led the round, and was joined by return backers Intel Capital, Swisscom Ventures, Hummingbird Ventures and Endeavour Vision. Aplidata, which has U.S. offices in Silicon Valley, previously raised $14 million. www.amplidata.com

Sosh, a San Francisco-based app that helps people find unusual activities, has raised $4 million in Series A funding led by Battery Ventures. www.sosh.com

YourMechanic, a San Francisco-based car mechanic ordering service based around a mobile app, has raised $1.8 million in seed funding from Y Combinator, SV Angel, CrunchFund, SoftTechVC and individual angels like Yuri Milner and Ashton Kutcher. www.yourmechanic.com

Axine Water Technologies, a Canadian developer of solutions for treating toxic organic pollutants in wastewater, has raised an undisclosed amount of new VC funding. Chrysalix Energy Venture Capitalled the round, and was joined by the Business Development Bank of Canada’s venture capital arm.www.axinewater.com

Honest Buildings, a New York-based real estate network that that connects building owners with service providers like architects, has raised an undisclosed amount of first-round funding co-led by RockPort Capital and Mohr Davidow Ventures. www.honestbuildings.com

Mural.ly, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based platform to create murals of content, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Intel Capital, Alta Ventures, 500 Startups and individual angels.www.mural.ly

RxAnte Inc., a McLean, Va.-based developer of medication adherence improvement solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding. Aberdare Ventures led the round, and was joined by the West Health Investment Fund. www.rxante.com
