Blekko, a Redwood Shores, Calif.-based Internet search engine, has raised $30 million in new VC funding. Yandex (Nasdaq: YNDX) led the round, and was joined by MLC Private Equity (Australia) and return backers U.S. Venture Partners, CMEA Capital and PivotNorth Capital. The company previously raised around $24 million. www.blekko.com

Putney, a Portland, Maine-based maker of veterinary medicines, has raised $21 million in Series C funding co-led by Safeguard Scientifics and NewSpring Health Capital. www.putneyvet.com

MSI Methylation Sciences Inc., a Vancouver-based developer of pharma compounds which have human proof of concept, has raised €13.5 million in Series A funding. Inventages led the round, and was joined by Working Opportunity Fund and BC Advantage Funds.

Karmasphere, a Cupertino, Calif.-based provider of big data analytics on Hadoop, has raised $6 million in Series B funding. Presidio Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers Hummer Winblad and US Venture Partners. www.karmasphere.com  

BidPal Network, an Indianapolis-based maker of handheld bidding devices for charitable fundraising, has raised $5.6 million in Series B funding. MK Capital and Alloy Ventures co-led the round.www.bidpalnetwork.com

 

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 29

Networked Insights, a Madison, Wis.-based provider of social media analytics, has raised $20 million in Series B funding. Goldman Sachs Asset Management led the round, and was joined by return backers like Kegonsa Capital Partners. www.networkedinsights.com

SweetLabs Inc., a San Diego-based provider of the Pokki app platform and OpenCandy advertising network, has raised Series C funding. Intel Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers Google Ventures and Bessemer Venture Partners. www.sweetlabs.com

Yieldex, a New York-based provider of inventory and revenue management solutions for digital publishers, has raised $10 million in third-round funding. Triangle Peak Partners and Hearst Interactive Media co-led the round, and were joined by return backers Amazon.com, Sequel Venture Partners, Madrona Venture Group and FFP Holdings. www.yieldex.com

Twitvid, a San Francisco-based video-sharing service on Twitter, has raised $6.5 million in Series B funding.  Azure Capital Partners led the round and was joined by return backer Draper Fisher Jurvetson.www.twitvid.com

mDialog, a Toronto-based provider of a mobile video and in-stream ad management platform, has raised C$5 million in Series A funding led by BlackBerry Partners Fund. www.mdialog.com

Socialbakers, a London-based social media analytics company, has raised $2 million in VC funding led by Earlybird Venture Capital. www.socialbakers.com

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

Achievers (f.k.a. I Love Rewards), an employee rewards and social recognitions company, has raised $24.5 million in Series C funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers JLA Ventures, GrandBanks Capital and the Ontario Venture Capital Fund. www.achievers.com

BrightTalk, a provider of enterprise webinar and video technologies, has raised $20.5 million in funding from North Bridge Growth Equity. BrightTalk has offices in San Francisco and London.www.brighttalk.com

Siluria Technologies, a San Francisco-based methane conversion company, has raised $20 million in Series B funding. The Wellcome Trust led the round, and was joined by return backers Alloy Ventures, ARCH Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Altitude Life Science Ventures, Lux Capital and Presidio Ventures. www.siluria.com

Clinipace Inc., a Durham, N.C.-based provider of clinical research software, has raised $15 million in Series C funding. Morgan Stanley Expansion Capital led the round, and was joined by retrun backers Hatteras Venture Partners and Brook Private Equity Advisors. www.clinipace.com

DisplayLink Inc., a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of USB connection solutions between monitors and computers, has raised $15 million in Series D funding. Cipio Partners and return backer DFJ Esprit co-led the round, and were joined by insiders Atlas Venture, Balderton Capital and DAG Ventures.www.displaylink.com

Peak Games, an Istanbul-based social gaming company focused on emerging markets, has raised $11.5 million in new VC funding. Return backers include Earlybird Venture Capital and Hummingbird Ventures. www.peakgames.net 

ClearSlide, a San Francisco-based provider of a cloud-based sales communications platform, has raised $11 million in Series A funding. Greylock Partners led the round, and was joined by seed backer Felicis Ventures. www.clearslide.com

iJento, a global provider of multichannel customer intelligence solutions, has raised $8 million in new private funding. Nauta Capital and Oxford Capital Partners co-led the equity tranche, while Silicon Valley Bank provided an undisclosed amount of debt financing. www.ijento.com

SpineGuard, a Paris-based provider of spinal screw placement solutions, has raised $6.2 million in new VC funding. Backers include Crédit Agricole Private Equity, Innoven Partenaires, A Plus Finance and Delta Partners. www.spineguard.com

Fundly, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based provider of social fundraising solutions for non-profits, has raised $5 million in Series A funding. Morgenthaler Ventures led the round, with partner Mark Goines joining the Fundly board of directors. Returning seed backers include Kapor Capital, Correlation Ventures, Seraph Group and Accelerator Ventures. www.fundly.com

Novaled, a German developer of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Samsung Ventures Investment Corp. www.novaled.com

BodyShopBids Inc., a Chicago-based online provider of auto repair estimates, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Lightbank. www.bodyshopbids.com

Renmatix, a Ping of Prussia, Penn.-based maker of cellulosic sugars, is planning to raise $50 million in Series C funding in order to build a commercial production plant, according to VentureWire. The company so far has raised around $20 million from firms like Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.www.renmatix.com

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

Zenverge Inc., a Cupertino, Calif.-based chipmaker for digital media products, has raised $20.5 million in Series D funding. Entropic Communications Inc. led the round, and was joined by the CID Group and Woodwide Fund. Return backers include DCM, Norwest Venture Partners, Motorola Mobility Ventures and Battery Ventures. www.zenverge.com

CareCloud Inc., a Miami, Fla.-based provider of cloud-based software and services for managing medical offices, has raised $20.1 million in Series A funding from Intel Capital and Norwest Venture Partners. www.carecloud.com

Market Force Information, a Boulder, Colo.-based provider of customer intelligence solutions, has raised $15 million in new VC funding. Backers include Monitor Clipper Partners, Centennial Ventures, Boulder Ventures and Vista Ventures. The company also secured additional debt facilities from Escalate Capital Partners and Comerica Bank. www.marketforce.com

Spredfast, an Austin, Texas-based provider of social media management systems, has raised $12 million in Series B funding. InterWest Partners led the round, and was joined by return backer Austin Ventures. The company previously raised $3.6 million. www.spredfast.com

Si-Bone Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based developer of a minimally-invasive surgical device to treat the sacroiliac joint, has raised $16 million in new VC funding. Montreaux Equity Partners led the round, and was joined by Skyline Ventures. www.si-bone.com

MyGengo, a San Francisco-based provider of human translation solutions, has raised $5.25 million in Series A funding from Atomico. www.mygengo.com

Endomondo, a Copenhagen-based maker of mobile fitness apps, has raised $2.3 million in VC funding from SEED Capital. www.endomondo.com

Wikets Inc., a Lexington, Mass.-based developer of mobile loyalty apps, has raised $1.5 million. Backers include Battery Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. www.wikets.com

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

Tumblr, a New York-based quick blogging platform, has raised $85 million in Series E funding. Greylock Partners and Insight Venture Partners co-led the round, and was joined by return backers like Spark Capital, Union Square Ventures and Sequoia Capital. The company previously raised around $40 million. www.tumblr.com

TechMediaNetwork, an Ogden, Utah-based online media company focused on the tech and science verticals, has raised $33 million in Series B funding. ABS Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Village Ventures and Highway 12 Ventures. www.techmedianetwork.com

Power Assure, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of data center infrastructure and energy management solutions, has raised $13.5 million in Series B funding. ABB led the round, and was joined by return backers Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Good Energiesand Judith Point Capital.www.powerassure.com

Xtium, a Valley Forge, Penn.-based provider of virtual private cloud service solutions, has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding from OpenView Venture Partners. www.xtium.com

Quantance Inc., a San Mateo, Calif.-based maker of a power supply for 4G mobile devices, has raised $11 million in Series C funding. Backers include TD Fund, Granite Ventures, InterWest Partners and DoCoMo Capital. www.quantance.com

Mintigo, a Menlo Park, Calif.-based lead generation company that utilizes big data analytics, has raised $9 million in Series B funding co-led by Sequoia Capital and Giza Venture Capital. www.mintigo.com
