jenny is so good to see you again and to talk about your company into go and leadership, you know, you know, so well that leadership right now is so top of mind for so many businesses during this year of the covid pandemic. So many of the C E. O. S. I. Interview told me how their job has changed and how they feel that they need to leave their companies differently. And this is where integral comes in. Tell us how your company's technology and software can help ceos and other business leaders navigate through some very critical challenges these days. Hi to the great atmosphere again, yes, leadership is a topic that were extremely passionate about it, Indigo and the ai driven technology that we both uh really approaches leadership in a very different way because leadership is a very gray area. It's very m Orpheus, one doesn't know how to think about it and things like core purpose um that that are very important to leaders today is also something very theoretical. So what our technology does is it takes all the murkiness and it brings a concrete technology solution that not only integrate um effective leadership action and purpose into daily work. And it actually brings missing metrics as well to the table. Well, maybe you can give us some examples because right now uh CeoS and other business leaders are tackling with the tricky issues like what to do about remote work uh beneath the business travel, how to maintain the corporate culture, how can Indigo help solve these problems if you want effective action and you want to address things, I burn out and and overwhelm you have to not only connect people to meaning, but you also have to help them to understand what to say yes to and what to say no to. And our technology does both because it integrates purpose into strategy. Um and it helps to make purpose and strategy much more concrete and real by helping people to identify their top priorities in alignment with what matters most of the organization. And then consistently asking, well, how does this drive the purpose? How does it drive your purpose And and to to instead of juggling 10 bowls to always help them to identify and focus on the tree that they need to keep in the air at any given time. Well many of the ceos that I talked to talked about how they changed some of their leadership habits are better listeners now, better communicators and they're much more empathetic to what their employees are dealing with to talk to us a little bit about the human side of leadership, How can indigo healthy foods like that? We really believe that you have to start at home, start from the inside out. So we think about how do you help your people connect to what matters for them? How do you help every individual connect their purpose to the organization's purpose? And and that really drives much more effective action. It drives more engagement, that it impacts wellbeing. That's really the human side because it addresses burnout as well. So it's really helping people to focus on what matters. So they're not trying to do at all uh and address burnout from from the core. You know, this pandemic changed people, expectations changed people expect more from their ceos and their and their bosses. So as we move into this new post pandemic world, what do you think are the most critical leadership skills that every ceo must have? I think thinking in a really integrative way, meaning not adding different silos one by one to what the organization has to do, connecting the dots for people. So they understand how things inter relate every ceo should always know. And I'm sure they do you know what what what what are the absolute must have to rush right now? Uh And and how do I help my people to achieve that in a way that doesn't burn them out? Um but also that engages them too to why we're doing this in the first grade, connecting everything back to that core of of why and of maniacal focus. This all makes so much sense. But what if the Ceo said to you, look, I'm going to continue running this company the way I've been doing it for years, what would you say to him or her? Is there a risk to not changing? I think there's a massive risk. We're living in a new world and we have to execute in a new way as leaders. Um, So I would say yes, the risk is first of all, the enormous amount of strategy fails, 70 of transformation failed. There is an imperative today to not accept the status quo of leadership execution and to really think and work differently. And this is why we we created the metric of return on leadership, which really helps to clarify what's important connected to purpose, have strategic alignment and focused action because we believe that that is the way that leaders must execute to both the organization of tomorrow. Well, switching gears a little bit Janine, I know that you are working with fortune, you know, partnership to publish a leadership ranking lift. It's still under wraps. But what can you tell us about it and how my businesses be able to use this? So we're really excited about this dizzy because it brings what we believe are missing metrics, uh, to the awareness of leaders across the world. And this index is really going to highlight some very interesting aspects of organization that we've actually spoken about in this conversation, such as the integration Of, of strategy with the purpose. The insight that we've gleaned from doing this analysis are so interesting, so we're so excited to share them. So stay tuned.
