The industrial gas and engineering company makes the Modern Board 25 on the strength of its board’s age dispersion, nationality dispersion, and independence. The Linde board is chaired by former CEO Steve Angel and counts current CEO Sanjiv Lamba among its members.
Linde’s other directors include multiple Ph.D holders. Among them: Victoria Ossadnik is the COO – Digital of German utility company E.ON, and a former Oracle and Microsoft executive; and Ann-Kristin Achleitner has served as scientific codirector of the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies since 2003.
Linde earned high sustainability scores for its industry in the S&P’s Sustainability Yearbook. The company beat its Q4 2021 earnings estimates and increased its dividend in 2022.
