The internet security firm OpenDNS boasts extraordinary employee satisfaction, with 100 percent of workers reporting feeling proud of their accomplishments, and 94 percent saying that promotions are consistently fair. It’s also a company on the move: In 2013, it added 3,500 new business customers and grew its staff by 60 percent. But that hasn’t seemed to erode the company’s internal communications, since 99 percent of employees say they enjoy a free and transparent exchange of ideas. “There is definitely a unique and sincere sense of organizational unity and drive at OpenDNS,” one employee said.
