This privately owned oil and gas exploration company has the motto, “When Hilcorp Wins, We All Win.” There’s a huge incentive to meet company goals, too, with $100,000 cash given to employees (prorated and based on when the person was hired). “The bonuses, the buy-in plan, the open-book management, the culture,” according to an employee. “Generally everything about working at Hilcorp is great.” There’s also a scholarship fund for employees’ children who meet certain conditions and a culture exchange for workers to travel to the Alaska office.
