This global IT services firm has focused a good amount on mental-health initiatives for employees in recent years. Twice a month the company makes available an on-site master’s level counselor to all employees for free. “I’ve never felt so appreciated in a job in my entire life,” says one employee. The firm has also brokered a relationship with LaunchCode (and its female-specific program, CoderGirl) to arrange for paid internships for individuals who may not otherwise have the network to secure them. Once interns complete the program, they’re eligible for apprenticeships at World Wide Technology, where they’ll be matched with a mentor and afforded on-the-job training.
