The Photoshop maker has been a big hit on Wall Street in recent years, with the company’s shares reaching historic highs. But despite Adobe’s boom, the company still values work/life balance. Each year, Adobe shuts down for the weeks of July Fourth and Christmas, something that's quite unusual for a Silicon Valley tech business. The company also offers unlimited PTO, 26 weeks’ paid leave for new mothers, and four- to six-week sabbaticals for every five years of service. One employee says: “I so appreciate our paid sabbaticals! After five years, you get four weeks off paid, and you can combine it with other time off or shutdowns.” Read the Great Place to Work review.
