Nvidia continues to reinforce its position as the gold standard for visual computing. The Silicon Valley giant develops graphics and central processing units across four sectors—gaming, data centers, autos and professional visualization—and has made strides in artificial intelligence with its deep learning technology. Company researchers in May developed a system for robots to learn how to perform tasks simply by observing humans. Nvidia is poised to continue its rapid growth—its revenue and operating income both increased in 2017 at $9.71 billion and $3.21 billion, respectively.
