Karen Adams founded Karen Adams Design to build on her deep passion for design and has translated her colorful design aesthetic to everything from home faux finishes and murals to gardening and entertaining. In 1994, Karen relocated to Memphis to be closer to family and in 1999 was commissioned to design custom invitations for local non-profits. The original drawings and hand-finished products were the spark and start of her business.
The Memphis-based lifestyle company now designs and manufactures gifts, desktop calendars, and a menagerie of hand-crafted paper goods including note cards, greeting cards, and related items. Additionally, Karen is involved with the local community and has donated financially and volunteered to organizations, including Girls Inc., NAACP, and Operation Broken Silence.
In response to COVID-19 pandemic, Karen Adams Design has pivoted to increase its online presence and leverage its designs toward the needs of a contemporary clientele.
