Known for its three-pound butter fruit pies, Hawaiian Pie Company is a bakery located in Kalihi on the island of Oahu that is steeped in tradition that embodies the spirit of Hawaii. Its menu consists of over twenty unique pie flavors along with a variety of specialty baked goods known as “Grandpa Yasu’s Specials.” With three generations of bakers working together daily, each pie is made with love, laughter, and aloha.
The company supports a number of local organizations, primarily in the area of education. Through the Localicious Hawaii program, the bakery supports local agriculture and contributes to educational programs for local students. It also contributes to Lanakila Pacific by hosting interns and providing them with hands-on experience in a working bakery—which they can apply to a future profession in the food service industry.
