Honeywell retains the same spot on the list despite a couple years of significant change. The industrial manufacturer in November announced it’s relocating its global headquarters to Charlotte, North Carolina from Morris Plains, N.J. It completed the spinoff of its homes and security and transportation systems businesses into two new publicly traded companies. That’s on the heels of the appointment of CEO Darius Adamczyk, who took over from Dave Cote in 2017. In spite of the revamp, Honeywell keeps trucking along: The company’s stock surged in April after its first-quarter earnings and sales beat expectations, raising Honeywell’s full-year outlook.
