The 94-year-old construction and farm machinery maker has been on a tear. Total revenue for fiscal 2018 came in at $54.7 billion, a 20% increase from the year before. Profits, meanwhile, skyrocketed, rising more than 700% to $6.15 billion (this was partly driven by lower tax expense and decreased restructuring costs). Caterpillar saw growth across several product lines. But company does have some potential weak spots moving forward, including flattening demand in the Chinese market after two years of growth.
