Tech giant Google appears poised for continued growth as it focuses on new projects, such as its investment in Calico, a new company that will focus on health and wellbeing and will be headed by Apple Chairman Arthur Levinson. In 2014, Google sold Motorola Mobility to China-based Lenovo. It also purchased DeepMind Technologies, an artificial intelligence company based in London as part of an effort to diversify its business in the coming years. Google’s Internet business, meanwhile, has supplied the company with a 12% increase in revenue, thanks in part to more ad-clicks from its users.
