The world’s leading businesses are discovering the transformative power of design as a vital element of corporate strategy. Fortune 500 giants like GE, IBM and Ford Motor as well as tech dynamos like Alphabet, Apple and Facebook are investing heavily to strengthen their design capabilities not just to make their products more aesthetically pleasing and easier to use, but to understand their customers and keep them coming back. The world’s most successful companies are embracing design thinking in every aspect of what they do: from what type of goods and services they provide to how they interact with customers, recruit and develop talent and structure their organizations.

Presenting Brainstorm Design

Brainstorm Design is a unique new conference dedicated to exploring the increasingly crucial nexus between business and design. The three-day event, held at The Mandarin Oriental Singapore on March 6-8, 2018, is the latest addition to Fortune’s influential Brainstorm conference series. For the first time, Meredith combined the editorial wisdom and resources of three of its biggest brands: FORTUNE, TIME and Wallpaper*. Editors from all three titles collaborated to deliver a lively and informative event bringing together the FORTUNE 500's most powerful executives and the world’s most talented designers.

Setting the stage for innovative thinking

Singapore, one of the world’s great hubs of commerce, culture and innovation and long a meeting point for East and West, offered an ideal setting for discussions about business and design. Brainstorm Design, held in parallel with Singapore’s annual Design Week, featured thinkers from diverse fields including industrial and product design, architecture and urban planning, graphic design, user experience, mobility and transportation, fashion, financial services, travel and hospitality and many more.
