Agricultural Bank of China

When the Agricultural Bank of China (also known as AgBank or ABC) went public in 2010, it raised $22.1 billion in what was then the world's largest-ever initial public offering. At the time, it had been a Global 500 company for 10 years and had climbed more than 200 spots in the ranking. A decade later, the bank has finally broken into the top 50. Today AgBank is one of China’s biggest commercial lenders, especially in rural areas, where its new loans to counties increased 10.18% in the first half of 2020—even as the pandemic dented China’s economy.
