Bimbo is one of the world’s largest bakeries, with a presence in 22 countries and almost $14 billion in revenue. It’s also lifting many of its smaller partners into the digital world. Grupo Bimbo started the Red Qiubo program to modernize the payment systems of small stores in Mexico. Now those shops can accept payments electronically, rather than being stuck in a cash economy—a key to future growth.
