The world’s largest clothing retailer has seen brands like Zara and Massimo Dutti become fashion phenomena in part because their low-inventory, fast-response strategy makes them ultra-responsive to customer’s needs. Under Isla, CEO since 2005, Inditex has more than tripled revenues and quadrupled products. Of late, the company has begun slowing its store growth in favor of an emphasis on online sales.
