    “I was lucky enough to participate in Workday’s Sprint to Europe/America program, where employees in a North American office have the opportunity to work from either the Dublin or the Munich office for a month (or vice versa). It’s like a study abroad program for engineers who didn’t get the chance to study internationally in college. Living and working in another country is such a different experience than just visiting, and it gave me the opportunity to get to know my long-distance colleagues much better than a short trip would have allowed. I’m also part of a leadership development program for young engineers in the Workday Tools organization. We have discussions on leadership books, run programs to give new employees technical training and organize events to get young colleagues involved in the community. It’s awesome to feel that your company is willing to invest in your career and development as a leader. Also, the outdoor yoga classes in the summer are a great way to bring some sunshine into your day.”
