“My favorite aspect of working for Google is the flexibility. When you’re part of a family, you can’t control what will happen or where you’ll need to be—Google cares a lot about keeping families together and making work flexible around family needs.”

“If I had to put Google’s culture into one word, it would be ‘open.’ Googlers are so accepting of all lifestyles, passions, and interests. We have meet-up groups for pretty much everything imaginable, from the Greyglers to juggling clubs. The culture at Google is open and exciting, and is always pushing for people to be the best versions of themselves. I think Android says it well, ‘Be together, not the same.'”

“Our GooglersGive program is very special, and is one of my favorite perks. Google will match your personal charitable donations up to $6,000 annually, allowing you to make double the impact on causes you believe in. Beyond that, GooglersGive also runs an annual GoogleServe campaign where employees are able to go out and volunteer in their communities. Google will allow up to 20 hours of work time spent volunteering and will also donate for each hour you volunteer. GooglersGive is a special program that allows us to make a big impact in the world outside of Google.”
