“When I graduated, I imagined my first job would put me in a cubicle somewhere in a gray building running reports. Big Ass Solutions is nothing like that. The corporate atmosphere here is like nothing else. We’re growing so quickly that you get promoted faster and bounce between more projects than you would at another job. I’ve only been here about 9 months, but I’ve already moved up from sales to a project coordinator in the Big Ass Light product development division. I enjoy not knowing exactly what I’ll be doing each day—I have yet to get bored at work.”

“It’s a little chaotic at times, but everybody has fun and we all share the same goal of providing energy-efficient comfort to the world. Plus, all of our processes are transparent—we have an open office environment so everyone knows what everyone else is working on and how it affects everyone else involved. Because we work so closely together, it helps that we’re all smart and funny, and we enjoy each other’s company. You have to have sense of humor to work at a company called Big Ass Solutions.”

“Every day we get a catered lunch, and the company picks up half the tab, which is great. Even better is the beer fridge—at 5:01 PM on days we meet sales goals and pass other milestones, we crack open the fridge and everyone gets a free brew.”
