“Medidata is very accommodating to its employees, showing an understanding that people are different. I believe this comes from the fact that Medidata highly values its employees. Examples include having designated spaces (a quiet room, a wellness room, etc.) for people to use for meditation, prayer, personal health issues, etc. The executive leadership is also constantly trying to improve its employees’ productivity and quality of life. There is an anonymous ‘Ask an Exec’ form that employees can fill out, and responses are displayed on our company’s social network,” explains one millennial worker.
According to another millennial employee: “In a profit-driven, capitalist society, it’s unique to feel like you’re contributing to societal progress. Medidata does a good job showing you how your work does good. This isn’t Uber, people. We help people.”
