First, the work I do here is very fulfilling, my contributions not only get recognized but I feel a sense of pride and accomplishment in what I do. My manager is a great person to work for; he listens to any concern or idea I may have and acts on it in an appropriate manner. I can ask him any question without feeling dumb or worried that my words will not matter. Acuity as a company treats it’s employees exceptionally well. How many other companies automatically contribute 8% to employee’s 401K (normally it’s even more than that), have quarterly free breakfasts, quarterly massages, weekly gifts of some sort, and lunch with vice presidents to stay connected with what the company is doing and address our concerns. In addition, the quarterly Town Hall meetings gives employees insight into what the company is doing; there is always communication between upper management and employees, making us feel important and heard in the company.
