Dave Duffield is back. He was on our first list with PeopleSoft (scooped up by Oracle in 2005). Now he and co-founder Aneel Bhusri have created another big hit with employees with Workday, which supplies cloud-based applications for HR and finance. One Workmate told us: “We do fun outings, unique company meetings, have tons of extracurricular groups, team-building activities and can bring our dogs to work!” And employees can take time off as they need.
