When the ­German multibillion-dollar enterprise software company tapped Saueressig as its new chief information officer, it made the native of Lobbach, Germany, the youngest-known CIO at a Fortune Global 500 company. ­Saueressig, who ­began coding at 6, started at SAP while still a student and rose quickly up the ladder.
