Lobster, Engagement Rings and a Bulletproof Vest. Check Out Uber’s Weirdest Lost Items

What do a lobster, an engagement ring, and a bulletproof vest all have in common? They’ve all been found in the back of an Uber before (though hopefully not at the same time).

On Wednesday, Uber introduced The Uber Lost & Found Index—a list of items that are most commonly forgotten, as well as the most surprising things left behind. According to Uber, the top three most forgotten items are phones, rings, and keys. The most “forgetful city” is Los Angeles—though it’s followed closely by New York City at No. 2 and its fellow Californian city, San Francisco, at No. 3. As for the days Uber riders are most likely to forget something? Sunday and Saturday take the top spots, at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
