The remaining Republican candidates for president — Donald Trump, Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. John Kasich, and Ben Carson — will take the stage again tonight in Houston for the final debate before the critical Super Tuesday primaries, scheduled for next week.
The debate will air on CNN, CNN International and CNN En Espanol at 8:30 p.m. EST. A Spanish-translated version will also air on Telemundo. It will also be streamed live on CNN’s website and on all mobile platforms, with no log-in required.
The stakes are high for tonight’s debate, as the remaining candidates, especially Rubio and Cruz, will be desperately trying to knock Trump off his pedestal. Trump is on a roll, having won primaries in New Hampshire and South Carolina and the Nevada Caucuses earlier this week. A strong performance on Super Tuesday could just about seal up the nomination for the businessman, much to the consternation of the Republican party establishment and many conservative activists who don’t believe he is sufficiently conservative on a number of issues.
