Look Who’s Singing a Christmas Duet for Apple

On Wednesday, just before Thanksgiving and the two busiest shopping days on the U.S. calendar, Apple (AAPL) posted Someday At Christmas, a 1:30-minute duet featuring the legendary Stevie Wonder, newcomer Andra Day, and a host of Apple gift ideas, from the new MacBook to the Apple Watch.

Apple is pretty good at this kind of schmaltzy soft sell. It ought to be. It’s had three decades to practice. See 30 Years of Apple X-Mas Ads (with links to more than a dozen classics).
