Video: Jony Ive introduces the Apple Watch

Until the Apple Watch goes on sale — some time next year — there’s no better way to get a sense of what it looks like, how it works and what it can do than to watch the 10:36-minute shown at Tuesday’s event and attached below.

The narrator is Jony Ive, Apple’s VP for design. The device is state of the art. The language borrows heavily from the jewelry industry.

Cost, beyond the $349 starting price, is a mystery. Battery life? Your guess is as good as mine.
