Zerto, an Israeli provider of disaster recovery solutions for virtualized data centers, has raised $13 million in Series C funding. RTP Ventures led the round, and was joined by ru-Net Holdings and return backers Battery Ventures, Greylock Israel and U.S. Venture Partners. www.zerto.com

Asthmapolis, a Madison, Wis.-based mobile health solution for asthma and COPD, has raised $5 million in Series A funding from The Social+Capital Partnershipwww.asthmapolis.com

Business Insider, the business content site founded by Henry Blodget, has raised around $5 million in new funding led by Jeff Bezos. The New York-based company previously raised over $13 million from Allen & Co., RRE Ventures, Kohlberg Ventures, Pilot Group, Institutional Venture Partners and individual angels. www.businessinsider.com

Everymove, a Seattle-based provider of “the equivalent of a mileage rewards program for their health,”has raised $3.5 million in Series B1 funding from BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, Sandbox Industries and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.  www.everymove.com

Whisper, a social app for anonymously sharing captioned photos, has raised $3 million in Series A funding. Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Trinity Ventures and individual angels. www.whisper.sh

Luxola, a Singapore-based beauty e-commerce startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding from GREE Ventures. TechCrunch reports that the deal is for around $2 million. www.luxola.com

Redlen Technologies Inc., a Canadian developer of cadmium zinc telluride semiconductors for radiation detection and imaging equipment, has secured a strategic investment and technology development agreement with In-Q-Tel. No financial terms were disclosed. www.redlen.com
