Wonga.com, a UK-based online provider of short-term cash advance, is in talks to acquire On Deck Capital, an Arlington, Va.-based provider of small business loans, according to Bloomberg. The deal would be valued south of $250 million. Wonga has raised around $145 million in VC funding from Balderton Capital, Accel Partners, Greylock Partners, Dawn Capital, Oak Investment Partners, Meritech Capital Partners and Wellcome Trust.
