CardiAQ Technologies Inc., an Irvine, Calif.-based developer of devices for percutaneous mitral heart valve replacement, has raised $37.3 million in second-round funding. OrbiMed Advisors led the round, and was joined by Versant Ventures, Advent Life Sciences and return backers like Broadview Advisors.www.cardiaq.com

Acquia, a Burlington, Mass.-based enterprise guide to Drupal, has raised $30 million in new VC funding.Investor Growth Capital led the round, and was joined by Goldman Sachs, Accolade Partners and return backers North Bridge Venture Partners, Sigma Partners and Tenaya Capital. The company now has raised a total of $68.5 million. www.acquia.com

MyHeritage, an Israel-based genealogy site, has raised $25 million in new VC funding. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Accel Partners and Index Ventures. In related news, MyHeritage has acquired California-based rival Geni.com, which had raised over $16 million from firms like Charles River Ventures and Founders Fund. No financial terms of the acquisition were disclosed. www.myheritage.com

Rib-X Pharmaceuticals Inc., a New Haven, Conn.-based developer of antibiotics, closed on an $18.7 million first tranche of a $67.5 million Series 2 preferred stock financing. A second tranche is expected to close by year-end. Vatera Healthcare Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Warburg Pincus, ABS Ventures and Vox Equity Partners. Rib-X postponed a planned IPO back in May. www.rib-x.com

NoMoRerack, a New York-based deep-discount apparel retailer, has raised $12 million in VC funding, according to a regulatory filing. Backers include Oak Investment Partners. www.nomorerack.com

NanoBio Corp.
, an Ann Arbor, Mich.-based developer of dermatological products, anti-infective treatments and intranasal & intramuscular vaccines, has raised $11 million in Series C funding. Return backers include Perseus and Venture Investors LLC. www.nanobio.com

AgilOne
, a Mountain View, Calif.-based predictive marketing intelligence company, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Mayfield Fund led the round, and was joined by return backer Sequoia Capital. www.agilone.com

Ginger.io
, a San Francisco-based behavioral health analytics startup, has raised $6.5 million in Series A funding. Khosla Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers True Ventures and Romulus Capital. www.ginger.io

Indisys, a Spanish maker of natural language virtual telephone assistants, has raised $5 million in new VC funding. Intel Capital led the round, and was joined by Inveready Technology Investment Group.www.indisys.es

Macheen Inc., an Austin, Texas-based cloud service provider for connected devices, has raised an undisclosed amount of strategic funding from Qualcomm Inc. In September, the company announced a $10 million Series C raise from GemVentures, North Bridge Venture Partners and DFJ Mercury.www.macheen.com
