Mediafed, a London-based provider of RSS news feed monetization solutions, has agreed to acquireTaptu, a consumer apps and news aggregation platform with offices in the UK and Denver. SingTel has agreed to acquire Pixable Inc., a New York-based social photo and video management tool, for $26.5 million. Pixable had raised over $6 million in VC funding from Highland Capital Partners and Menlo Ventures. www.pixable.com

Onconova Therapeutics, a Newtown, Penn.-based drug developer, has entered into a European licensing agreement with Baxter International Inc. (NYSE:BAX) for an anti-cancer compound currently in a Phase III study for the treatment of a group of rare hematologic malignancies and in a Phase II/III study for pancreatic cancer. The deal could be valued at upwards of $565 million for Onconova, including a $50 million upfront payment. Baxter is an existing Onconova shareholder, alongside ICICI Ventures, Mehta Partners and Tinicum Partners. www.onconova.com
