The Carlyle Group has agreed to acquire the North American power generation assets held by Cogentrix Energy, including five coal and solar power products in Florida, Virginia, Colorado and California, fromGoldman Sachs. No financial terms were disclosed.

CounterPoint Capital Partners has acquired Parts Now, a Middleton, Wis.–based provider of consumable printer parts and related accessories. No financial terms were disclosed.

Foursan Group, a Jordan-based private equity firm, has acquired a 6.6% stake in Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, which makes Foursan the bank’s second-largest shareholder.

Red Door Spa Holdings, a Phoenix-based operator of Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas and the Mario Tricoci Hair Salons, has raised $12 million in minority equity funding from Elizabeth Arden Inc. and J.H. Anderson HoldingsNorth Castle Partners will remain the company’s majority
