Jazz Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: JAZZ) has agreed to sell its women’s health business to Swedish specialty pharma company Meda AB for $95 million in cash. www.meda.se

KPS Capital Partners has hired UBS to advise on a sale of North American Breweries, seller of beer brands like Labatt, Magic Hat and Genesee in the U.S., according to Reuters. The deal could be valued at upwards of $400 million.

Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) has completed its acquisition of mobile photo app Instagram. Based on yesterday’s closing price of $18.96 per share, the total deal value was approximately $736 million. Instagram had raised around $57 million in VC funding from Andreessen Horowitz, Baseline Ventures, Sequoia Ventures, Thrive Capital, Greylock Partners and Benchmark Capital. www.instagram.com

Spirent Communications PLC (LSE: SPT) has agreed to acquire Metrico Wireless Inc., a Frederick, Md.-based provider of mobile device performance testing services, from Dimitrios Topaltzas for $52 million in cash. www.spirent.com
