Kirby Corp. (NYSE: KEX) has agreed to acquire the assets of Norfolk, Va.-based tugboat and towing company Allied Transportation Co. for $116 million.

Tech Data Corp. (NAsdaq: TECD) has agreed to acquire a suite of tech distribution services companies from Britain’s Specialist Computer Holdings, for around $350 million.

Ecover of Belgium has acquired Method, a San Francisco–based provider of eco-friendly household and personal care products, from San Francisco Equity Partners, Derwent London (LSE: DLN) and Sumitomo Corp. (Tokyo: 8053). www.methodcare.com

Mid Europa Partners plans to sell Polish healthcare group Lux Med by year-end, according to Reuters. The deal could be worth upwards of $300 million.
