American Industrial Partners has agreed to acquire Presstek Inc., a Greenwich, Conn.–based provider of digital offset printing solutions to the printing and communications industries. The deal is valued at around $18.7 million, or $0.50 per share (16.3% premium to Wednesday’s closing price.

, a San Francisco-based fitness studio operator, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding from Mainsail Partners.

has agreed to acquire Japanese sushi restaurant chain Akindo Sushiro from Unison Capital for $1 billion. Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley managed the process, while Permira was advised by Nomura.

Saw Mill Capital has acquired Pine Environmental Services Inc., a Windsor, N.J.–based provider of environmental test and measurement equipment solutions, from RAF Industries Inc. No financial terms were disclosed. Harris Williams & Co. managed the process.
