The Carlyle Group has expressed “highly preliminary” interest in acquiring British military ammunitions and defense company Chemring Group PLC (LSE: CHG), according to a Chemring statement. The company’s current market cap is in excess of £800 million.

Dominus Capital
has agreed to acquire Bentley Prince Street, a maker of broadloom, carpet tile and area rugs for commercial interiors, from Interface Inc. (Nasdaq: IFSIA). No financial terms were disclosed.

GSO Capital Partners, a unit of The Blackstone Group, has led a $430 million recapitalization of Spanish cement maker Cementos Portland Valderrivas.

Westward Partners has acquired a majority stake in DLM Oilfield Enterprises Ltd., a provider of maintenance services to cold oil and SAGD production facilities throughout Northeast Alberta. No financial terms were disclosed. Generational Equity managed the process.
