TuneIn, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based online radio service, has raised $16 million in new VC funding. General Catalyst Partners led the round, and was joined by Google Ventures, JAFCO Ventures and return backer Sequoia Capital.

Aqwise, an Israeli developer of water and wastewater treatment solutions, has raised $4.5 million in new VC funding. Triveni Engineering & Industries led the round, while existing backers include AHMSA Steel Israel, Altos Hornos de Mexico, Elron Electronic Industries and Israel Cleantech Venture Funds.

Sawbuck Realty (HomeSnap), a photo recognition app for houses, has raised $3.5 million in VC funding from Revolution Ventures and Robert Stewart.
