Microsoft is in talks to acquire enterprise social networking company Yammer for more than $1 billion, according to multiple press reports. Yammer has raised over $57 million in VC funding from firms like Charles River Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Social+Capital Partnership, Meritech Capital Partners, Founders Fund, Emergence Capital Partners, CrunchFund, Capricorn Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures and U.S. Venture Partners. www.yammer.com

Costco (Nasdaq: COST) plans to purchase the remaining 50% of Costco Mexico from joint venture partner Controladora Comercial Mexicana for approximately $767 million. www.costco.com

Red Zone Holdings, the investment group of Washington Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, has hired Raine Group to find a buyer for Dick Clark Productions, according to the NY Times. The move comes after inbound interest from an unidentified Chinese media company.
