Row 44, a Westlake Village, Calif.-based provider of in-flight WiFi and device-based entertainment solutions, has raised $45 million in new VC funding. Advanced Inflight Alliance AG led the round, and was joined by return backer PAR Capital Management. www.row44.com

Norwest Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by return backers Nexus Venture Partners, Helion Venture Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Western Technology Investment. Gigya, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of social infrastructure for business, has raised $15.3 million in new VC funding. Backers include Advance Publications, Mayfield Fund, Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures and Adobe. The company previously raised around $14 million. www.gigya.com
