FORTUNE — Micha Porat has left Israeli venture capital firm Genesis Partners, Fortune has learned.

He had joined Genesis as a principal nearly three years ago from ECI Telecom, and focused on opportunities in the Internet infrastructure and mobile sectors. Deals included Intucell Systems, Activepath, Valens Semiconductors and Sensible Medical.

No word yet on his next move.

According to an email, Porat will be replaced at Genesis by Roi Bar-Kat, who most recently was a VP of business development with Peregrine Ventures. Expect Bar-Kat to begin next month.
